As a contributing editor, he has written cover stories and interviews, and served as a columnist on various pop culture topics for The New Yorker, New York magazine, Interview, Elle, Vogue, Vanity Fair, and Details. A recipient of the Eleanor Lambert Founder's Award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America, Rubenstein is the author of 100 Unforgettable Dresses (Harper Design) and Paisley Goes with Nothing: A Man's Guide to Style (Doubleday).
