Ellen Steinbaum is a poet and journalist.  She is the author of two poetry collections, Afterwords and Container Gardening.  From 2002 until February 2009 she wrote a literary column for The Boston Globe.  She now writes a blog, Reading and Writing and the Occasional Recipe, which can be found at her web site, ellensteinbaum.com.  She is also the author of a one-person play CenterPiece, which she has performed.
