The Porter Square Books consignment program is designed primarily
to give local self-published authors the opportunity to stock and sell their
books in our store. The size of our store imposes constraints on extending this
opportunity beyond our immediate locale.
General Consignment Information
Books must have a spine displaying the title and author’s name.
We will pay 60% of the selling price after sales are made.
We will display books for a minimum of 3 months. As books sell, we may request additional copies.
Payments are made on a calendar quarterly basis.
We will pay only for items sold. Damaged or stolen items are the sole responsibility of the consignee.
At the end of the consignment period, we will request that any unsold books be picked up from our store within 30 days of notification. Books left longer than 30 days will be donated or given away.
