Just finished Girl, Interrupted. You know when you’re looking for a book to really touch your soul, something to make you feel really seen and understood- this was that. I feel like a really deep itch has been scratched and have no idea how I haven’t read this before. Felt like It’s Kind of a Funny Story meets The Bell Jar and I loved every line
Just read another Hill house comic which leaves me with one left, Plunge, kind of putting off that one as I don't want it to end. Though, Daphne Bryne i actually wasn't a big fan of- the story line and characters felt a little weak and there were some questionable suggestively incestuous?? relationships. I really thought I'd love this one, the themes are right up my alley but ehhh
thanks to Katherine I am FINALLY about to dive into The Only Good Indians which has been on my to read list for almost a year
Just finished The Importance of Being Earnest, love me some Wilde
Currently reading Northanger Abbey for class, didn’t think I was an Austen person but I am enjoying this
Just finished The Dollhouse Family it reminded me a lot of a grown up version of Coraline- a helpful black cat, an “other” world with evil entities tempting people to stay forever, the protagonist even had bluish hair and wore a yellow coat not sure if this was an intentional reference or not but it was super well done 10/10 it gets my approval
Just finished this, am completely obsessed with this series. Thank you Caleb
And reread one of my faves, this cover was too beautiful not to buy
