Contributors to Liberty’s Vigil

Join Porter Square Books for a reading from Liberty’s Vigil, The Occupy Anthology: 99 Poets among the 99%.

The readers for this event will be:

Fred Marchant is the author of four collections of poetry including The Looking House and Full Moon Boat. During the American war in Vietnam, he was one of the first Marine officers ever to be honorably discharged as a conscientious objector. He directs the Poetry Center and teaches at Suffolk University in Boston.

Civil rights attorney and poet Alice Weiss has been published in WHLReview, Muddy River Poetry Review, and Jewish Currents, and was featured in the Provincetown Poetry Festival and in Calliope.

Anne Whitehouse is the author of the novel Fall Love and the poetry collection The Surveyor's Hand. She has also written short stories, essays and feature articles, and book reviews.
