A Special Guest Story Hour with Ellen Mayer and Ying-Hwa Hu, author and illustrator of the Small Talk Books® board book collection!
Join us for stories, crafts, songs, and a book signing too! We will be sharing our books Red Socks, A Fish to Feed, Banana for Two and Clean Up, Up, Up! These Small Talk Books® are playful stories full of conversation between a child and adult that also model for grown-ups some ways to build children’s early learning. Two of these stories were developed through the Storytelling Math project at TERC in Cambridge and help build early math skills. The Small Talk Books® series is published by Star Bright Books in Cambridge, MA.
Each of the four books will also be available in a bilingual Spanish/English edition.
