Porter Square Books is delighted to welcome middle-grade authors Tara Dairman, author of The Girl From Earth's End, and Rajani LaRocca, author of Mirror to Mirror! This event will take place on Wednesday, March 29 at 7pm at Porter Square Books (25 White St. Cambridge, MA 02140).

Tara Dairman is the author of multiple middle-grade novels, including the All Four Stars series and The Great Hibernation. Tara’s picture book Desert Girl, Monsoon Boy, illustrated by Archana Sreenivasan, was named a Kirkus Reviews Best Picture Book of the Year. Tara Dairman holds a BA in creative writing from Dartmouth College and has traveled to more than ninety countries. After a few years of adventuring around the United States in an RV, she and her family now live in Colorado.
Rajani LaRocca was born in Bangalore, India, and immigrated to the US when she was a baby. She grew up in Louisville, Kentucky, graduated from Harvard with both a BA and an MD, and has worked as a primary care physician since 2001. She is the author of several books for young readers, including the Newbery Honor Book Red, White, and Whole and the picture book I’ll Go and Come Back, illustrated by Sara Palacios. Rajani LaRocca lives in Concord, Massachusetts, with her family.
