Announcement of the week: Don't forget to sign up for our Harry Potter fan fiction open mic! Registration is live now!
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child takes place nineteen years after the conclusion of the seventh book. You've heard a lot of speculation about what may or may not be present in this new volume...but you haven't heard it yet from PSB booksellers. We're gazing into the future (two short months!) to bring you the answers to what you'll see in The Cursed Child:
Sarah: "Angelina's been watching Scandal, and she's got a few ideas about how the Ministry of Magic should operate."
Alexander: "I look forward to seeing big-hearted Neville, toiling humbly in his garden, providing wise and kindly advice to any student perceptive enough to seek him out."
Susannah: "Dobby the House Elf (miraculously resurrected) is now running for President of the Union of Magical Workers on an anti-slavery, pro-socks for all platform."
Josh: "Unable to adjust to life after being the “chosen one,” Harry signs up for a daring and dangerous exhibition into a recently discovered and very mysterious underworld beneath Hogwarts."
Carter: "If Harry's sacrifice in The Deathly Hallows taught us anything, the time for killing is over."
Jessica: "I predict (hope) that Ron is less of a schlub than he was in the last two books. We get to see Hermione and Harry mature, but Ron...less so. I hope he's a functioning, responsible, empathetic adult so I can stop assuming that he and Hermione got a divorce, haha."
PSB booksellers will be back in a few weeks with more Cursed Child predictions... In the meantime, preorder your copy to make sure you find out what really happens right on the dot of midnight!
