It has been more than thirty years since my dad first read me this book and then read it again...and again. As a Little Critter, I was constantly frustrated by being told no, whether I wanted to keep the stray dog I found in the neighborhood or paint the furniture with bubblegum nail polish. This book soothed my soul and gave me the language I needed to talk about my feelings. Perfect for the Little Critter in your life who may need help with the concept of "just because you can doesn't mean you should."
True, it's a cookbook with only one recipe, but it's a really good recipe.
