I found this to be the book equivalent of being wrapped in a warm blanket. Wintery woods, cozy cottages, warm beverages, loving friends and family. Sprinkled with fairy tales that may be more than they seem. A great, heartwarming adventure featuring a strong, brave girl on a quest to find herself.

This is the queer feminist fairytale adaption you’ve been craving. It's the story of the world Cinderella left behind and the women fighting the power structures left in place. Like any good fairytale, it's beautiful and horrifying, but it leaves you feeling hopeful.

Picking up exactly where the animated series left off, this is a perfect read for everyone who, like myself, spent parts of their pandemic re-visiting the world of The Last Avatar. The art meshes perfectly with the show and the writing nails each character so well you can't help but hear their voices in your head.

Morrigan Crow is cursed and cursed children die on their eleventh birthday. But instead, Morrigan is rescued by a fantastical man who whisks her off to a secret city called Nevermoor to begin a new life. This is one of the best middle grade fantasy series to come out in years. It's brilliant, creative, magical, and perfect for the Harry Potter fan in your life.

This beautiful book is perfect for the young one in your life who loves animals! Sy's story is about following your dreams, and being open to learning the life lessons that teachers of all shapes and sizes can offer. Rebecca Green's illustrations are wonderfully rich and full of discovery. A gift for every good creature.

I always love Jacqueline Woodson's work, but even with my high expectations her new book has no problem living up to the hype. This is a timely family story and I love how it portrays a vibrant family while raising awareness to some of the more tragic angles of sports. You'll fall in love with the characters as well as Woodson's always excellent verse. Perfect for fans of Kwame Alexander's The Crossover.

An incredibly inventive reimagining of Arthurian legend with a fierce female lead. Bubbling with magic, danger, and set with layered, nuanced plotlines. This is so good!!!

An absolutely stunning work of artistry. It's so enchanting and lovely; even as an adult I find it soothing to flip through and admire all of the details.

Jordan Scott's father likened his stutter to the movements of a river, and forever changed how he saw himself. Our imperfections make us unique, they do not diminish us.
