also started He Saw That It Was Good, which so far seems like a great add to the ol' anti-racist reading list
and just started listening to Shit, Actually which is making me laugh so hard I've cried
halfway done with Anyone, which is really scratching my inexplicable Bladerunner itch
Also making my way through staff picks, have to say this is the first book that’s made me interested in anything remotely Arthurian since I was a little kid. Thanks Stacey!
Just finished In a Sentimental Mood. Which did, indeed, put me in a sentimental mood. Very beautiful collection of poems thank you for the borrow Josh!!
Started reading the Buffy comics. It is... a weird AU but I'm digging it enough to keep going at least.
Also reading Lost in the Never Woods (!!!) which is Aiden Thomas' Peter Pan retelling and I love it already
Currently reading the second Avatar Kyoshi novel and enjoying what an enormous bi disaster kyoshi is
Reading For the Wolf now. It's a Red Riding Hood retelling (kind of) and its VERY good
Cookbook obsession: My Shanghai by Betty Liu. You guessed it, this will also be my staff pick for March. My fav part about this one is that it's specific to Shanghainese recipes and not just a generalisation of Chinese cuisine.
Just finished: A Pho Love Story by Loan Le which is AMAZING. It's my staff pick for March.
The Silence of Bones by June Hur, I picked this up ages ago, started it and was obsessed. Anyway, finally going to finish it now and it reads like a historical action movie set in 1800, Joseon (Korea).
