Just finished The Future Of Another Timeline and it was WAY MORE INTENSE than I expected and I’m not totally sure if I liked it per se but I can’t stop thinking about it so that’s always good
Just finished: White Ivy and it is absolutely wild. The end was worth it
Also finished the Factory Witches of Lowell. I dreamed about it before reading it, so obviously I had to. And I enjoyed it a lot. Good to complement those smash the patriarchy feels
I finished The Only Good Indians. Some Shakespearean level tragedy and spooky AF, but also pretty funny. I dug it!
But also finally starting the second Tristan Strong audiobook and remembering how much I love this series
I HAVE A NEW SEANAN MCGUIRE GALLEY soooo that’s immediately taking priority over the other eight billion things I have waiting
Listening to the audiobook of Book of Dragons (it's on sale at libro fm right now!!) and feeling EXTREMELY targeted by the amazing slate of authors they have
This one really spoke to my younger, Catholic school girl self
Reading These Violent Delights by Chloe Gong..... The premise is amazing--1920s Shangai, dominated by 2 rivaling gangs (Basically Romeo & Juliet but even MORE blood). But also, it makes my head itch. Read this book if you dare to find out why...
LOVING!!!! Who Ate the First Oyster?. Robin has hear me talk about it a hundred times lol
I also just finished THE BRILLIANT DEATH which was gobsmackingly excellent. Italian folktales, streghe, atmospheric, genderfluid, gorgeous YA fantasy (with sequel out).
Just finished reading SPOILER ALERT which is a freaking delight and a great romance rec for people generally (also plays heavily with fandom/fan fiction/AU GOT) so... get on that.
