ALSO finally finished the last book in An Ember in the Ashes series (A Sky Beyond the Storm) and AAAHHHHHHHH SO GOOD AND I JUST CRIED THE WHOLE LAST HALF OF THE BOOK.
Also am listening to White Ivy on Libro and LOVE IT OMG. It's creepy and so good and I'm just waiting for something crazy to happen......... also a fantastic portrayal of what white privilege/desperation to belong can do the psychology of The Asian-American Woman.
Started Plain Bad Heroines last night and am loving it. Don't know why I didn't pick it up sooner since Katherine has been raving about it for the longest time.
I'm currently reading Once You Go This Far, the latest in the Roxane Weary mystery series, and I actually stayed up until 3AM reading last night which is very rare for me
also just dipped my toes into Vampire: the Masquerade with the new comic series...I was into it
and just finished King Thor, which was an excellent end to a truly impressive run by Jason Aaron
As a palate cleanser between my very intense books I'm reading How to Find a Princess for cute lesbian romance (and pretty sure one of the characters has adhd??? she's explicitly stated neurodivergent but not the specific flavor) but anyway the characters haven't even met yet and I'm digging it
Just finished this fun, queer, summer mermaid graphic novel
gay, filled with political intrigue
I've read The Album of Dr Moreau (very good??? actually much better than I expected)
Reading Star Eater now and it's VERY good
Thrilled that echo wife is one of the new Libro.fm alcs so that’s what I’m listening to now!! I’m not very far in but I already love the main character (and hate her ex husband)
