Started The Death of Jane Lawrence yesterday, which has been comped to Crimson Peak, Rebecca, Shirley Jackson, and Ninth House so I'm intensely intereste
Trying to catch up on some of the Manga I should know
Also reading The Story of Silence. It's very Tamora Pierce's Alanna, but with more gender stuff and less talking to cats.
I just finished Folklorn, I dug it very much
Also listening to Anne of Manhattan which I was hesitant about but which is actually very delightful
Reading this oldie but goodie
The Interim by Hilbig (an author a lot of my bookternet friends really like who I've never read before)
Finally devouring One Last Stop and adoring it.
And am almost done with the new Bechdel! It’s good- much better than Are You My Mother (which got bogged down). Kate, I think you’ll like it.
Enjoyed Over the Shop with my morning coffee
Just started The Ghost Bride, which I was told is very scary and I'm very excited about it!
And Tamsyn Muir's book about a princess fighting her way out of a tower which was a lot of fun and weird and very interesting
Catching up on Leah Williams' X-Factor also really really good though perhaps not a good one for people who aren't already comic book fans
NK Jemisin writes Green Lantern and it's just as fantastic and imaginative as you would expect from her.
apparently the thing Mira does where she comes up to the door is because she LITERALLY RECOGNIZES THE SOUND OF MY FOOTSTEPS and I love her so much. The book is cute too
