I put down Peaces bc I couldn’t get into it and went back to earlier Helen Oyeyemi I hadn’t read yet and loved White Is For Witching
Just finished When the Tiger Came Down the Mountain in basically one sitting and I'm really upset I only have one more Nghi Vo book left before I've read them all
also a hecking cute MG comic about a nonbinary vampire and their friends
was also catching up on comics and enjoying getting my old school batman on even if it didn’t have enough nightwing for me
and just started listening to Amari and the Night Brothers and digging it. looks like some solid magic school shenanigans
Reading the second Kyoshi book and still as heart eyes over her as I was while reading the first/watching the show
Real Tristram Shandy, Rabelais, Sheppard Lee vibes with this one
i'm very excited to be starting the audiobook of the new David Yoon!
and reading The Seven Torments of Amy and Craig for my periodic dose of sad-sack YA romance
halfway thru Children of Dune; idk what's wrong with me
Recently finished a book that brought me back in contact with a subject and personalities I studied in college (back in the dawn of time). My interest then as now should come as no surprise as Vespasiano da Bisticci was one of the foremost booksellers of his day, another terrific look at the Renaissance by Ross King
She is a bisexual element-bending icon and I love her.
I am now onto The Beautiful Ones by Silvia Moreno-Garcia which is a super wonderful fantasy regency novel, if you liked Midnight Bargain you should check it out
