Very excited for this
I’m reading She Who Became the Sun and it’s the actually queer Mulan trope story my heart has been craving
The first page mentions BTS so this is already an instant fav.
Just finished Winter’s Orbit which is some EXTREMELY GOOD sad dumb gay boys in space nonsense highly recommend
Listening to How to Catch a Queen which is a delight
Finished listening to Big Summer, which was meh, but not terrible background noise.
What a delightful book. Tobias Finch is moss-covered Geralt and I'm here for it
and I finally read Burning Roses which fulfilled my dreams of queer old lady fairy tale retellings and I love it a lot
Stacey has been trying to get me to read Her Silhouette Drawn in Water for a thousand years and I finally did. SUPER weird and super queer and fascinating
I spent all of 12/26 reading and it was very good. Read The Library of Ever, which was massive Phantom Tollbooth vibes. Like the whole magical world but specifically focused on learning is great!!! Looking forward to checking out the sequel
Also (finally) finished the Rhythm of War audiobook. Overall, I felt pretty "meh" about it.
Also finished Silver in the Wood and of course I loved it!
I just finished Forsyth Harmon's debut Justine. I was taken in by the fact that it was illustrated (actually I think Josh Cook galley auntied this one to me bc of that), but she beautifully captures something really true about being a female teen, at least as I experienced it. Definite trigger warning for eating disorder, though.
I'm doing my traditional reread of Hogfather (a rewatch will commence tonight)
Reading and SUPER LOVING The Witch King which is a trans witch and his fae ex and human best friend and amazing and queer and beautiful and everyone who loved Cemetery Boys will probably also love this
